The Superpella program is an innovation accelerator led by the Innovation Office at the University of Basel in collaboration with our partners abroad. Its primary goal is to identify and provide high-potential Korean biotech & health tech startups with direct access to the ecosystems of Basel and Switzerland. Under the roof of Superpella, there are several programs, namely the Seoul-Basel Startup Hub Acceleration Program dedicated to introducing Korean Startups to the Basel ecosystem.

The Seoul-Basel Startup Acceleration Program is a two-week on-site visit, where each cohort of five startups undergoes an elaborate and tailor-made program, consisting of in-depth workshops & pitching training with high-level coaches from industry and academia. Alongside these learning sessions, participants also participate in various social events and pre-arranged networking opportunities. This strategic organisation allows startups to optimize their time in Basel, cultivating connections with industry figures and academic experts for meaningful collaborations that maximize their impact and accelerate growth beyond the “Basel experience”. We encourage startups to explore additional funding opportunities through the Swiss-Korea bilateral Fund.
