Tackling Health challenges in Africa: Unveiling the MIRAHI 3.0 Recipients

We are delighted to announce that 4 startups have been selected for the MIRAHI startup acceleration program from MIRAHI 3.0 call. Making Innovation a Reality Africa Health Initiative, (MIRAHI) supports the setting up of collaborations with local partners and, where appropriate, can provide a grant to support validation or scaling up.


Neosens offer a patented diagnostic device that employs artificial intelligence to combine the detection of biomarkers with clinical signs analysis to combat the misdiagnosing of sepsis in newborns. .


AllesHealth provides the only digital health platform patients will ever need and the most inclusive clinical insights platform that ensures diversity in clinical trials with patient centricity.


MOMM Diagnostics specialises in rapid diagnostic tests for the detection and prognosis of preeclampsia, a dangerous pregnancy condition.


Zario provides a digital wellbeing app that help people reduce and replace unwanted screentime.


The program is run with partners from several African countries together with the University of Basel Innovation Office, the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH), and the broader Swiss innovation ecosystem. Example partners are the Healthtech Hub Africa and Ifakara Health Institute Innovation Hub Partners have been selected based on their ability to facilitate insight into healthcare challenges and engage with startups.
