For the third time, Swiss start-ups and innovators have the chance to validate their ideas to the MIRAHI 3.0 initiative in order to scale-up novel, equitable and sustainable solutions to systemic health challenges in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), with a particular focus on the Sub-Saharan region of Africa.
MIRAHI partners with Swiss and African universities, innovation centers, incubators, governments, international organizations, as well as the private sector, and civil society organizations. The program is run with partners from selected African countries together with the University of Basel Innovation Office, the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) and the wider Swiss innovation ecosystem. Example partners are the Healthtech Hub Africa and Ifakara Health Insitute Innovation Hub.
