Are you an Innosuisse Entrepreneurship Training graduate or an alumnus of our Start-up Programs?  We’re bringing together the alumni community from our Start-up Programs and Entrepreneurship Training courses for an exclusive Alumni Event that promises to be both inspiring and enlightening.

For this special Alumni event, we are excited to welcome three very special guests:

About the speakers:

Peter Nestorov – Co-founder & CEO of Scailyte: Peter is a biochemist with a PhD in Genetics from the University of Basel and a passion for understanding the molecular mechanisms of development & disease. He has been working in the emerging single-cell analysis market since 2015 and this gave him the inspiration to start Scailyte as co-founder and CEO in 2017. Scailyte is a best-in-class artificial intelligence platform for the discovery of complex disease patterns from single-cell data. After being selected for the TOP 100 Swiss Startups Awards from 2019 to 2021, Scailyte has successfully finished the Series A funding, raising CHF 6 million.

Nicole Weiland – CEO of Xenometrix: Nicole holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Basel. She is an experienced CEO with a demonstrated history of working in the biotechnology industry. For over 20 years, Xenometrix AG produces and distributes bioassays in the field of in vitro toxicology, used in drug discovery, preclinical testing, quality control, environmental analysis and research. Xenometrix was founded in 1995 in Allschwil and is now selling its products and services worldwide, in the US, and many other countries in Europe and Asia.

 Simon Nebel – Managing Partner & Founder of Viopas Venture Consulting: Over the past 20 years, Simon was involved in 4 Private Equity vehicles in healthcare and renewable energy as Managing Partner at Aravis. The funds invested in more than 20 private companies of which 15 either became public companies or were acquired. In 2016, Simon founded Viopas Venture Consulting where he is Managing Partner. Simon has extensive experience as Board of Directors from public & private companies. He holds a master and a PhD in structural biology from the Biozentrum, University of Basel, as well as an MBA from the London Business School.
