What is your professional focus?
I am a physician with a PhD in Health Sciences & Nutrition. My current position at DSM involves a double role: As medical director, I am responsible for the clinical strategy for innovative products. As the senior science fellow, I oversee our scientific capabilities and scientific development.

A major challenge in society is to ensure long and healthy lives for the world's population and the future generation.

If you look 50 years into the future, what change in the world would you like to see?
I want people around the world to realize their full potential and to reduce the prevalence of non-communicable diseases linked to lifestyle and nutrition.
