Join us on two excursions to learn more about the potential of biochar and its applications – hands-on and interactive. Together we get to discover how biochar is produced in Basel and how it can be applied in the context of composting and a means to store carbon in the soil and loop waste streams.

12th October: Introductions to Composting and Biochar applications
Excursion to the Unigärten with a Introduction into composting by the Startgärtnerei Basel Time: 5pm – 6.30pm Place: Unigärten Alfonso in den Familengärten Milchsuppe. Meeting Point: Bungestrasse 18, Basel
Both excursions are aiming for students with an interest in sustainability and innovation. The number of participants is limited to 20 people.
